Power Consulting Associates was co-founded by David C. Grooms, PE in 2005 in order to provide engineering design, construction inspection and project management services for all stages of power delivery. Mr. Grooms had a vision for creating an enjoyable working environment for others who were just as passionate about developing and maintaining the electrical infrastructure around the world. 

For a decade now, PCA has provided professional engineering design and construction oversight inspection services to a diverse client base in the energy industry. As specialists of transmission line, distribution line and substation construction, our engineers and inspectors have been called upon by some of the largest utilities in the industry.

As a certified small business we know what it takes to build and maintain successful client relationships. Our clients continue to utilize our services because we hold ourselves accountable for the quality of our work and the results we achieve. At PCA we are proud of our relationships with our long-term clients and look forward to developing progressive rapport with professionals throughout all sectors of the energy business.

HEALTH & SAFETY

PCA strives to provide a safe working environment for all of its employees, clients, sub-contractors, etc. We are committed to maintaining and enforcing a program that will fulfill this goal. PCA complies with applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations, and promotes continuing accident prevention and safety awareness.

With safety as a top priority, our construction managers and inspectors have a minimum of 5 years of experience and are trained in First Aid/ CPR, OSHA 10/30 hour, OSHA Trench Safety and Standard Utility Safety Practices.
